Lily bulbs with Liquidseal for growers
Liquidseal for lily bulbs is a environmental friendly way for coating lily bulbs to extend their lifespan.
General information
Because of the Liquidseal coating, a lily bulb metabolizes less energy during storage. After storage, there is a vital lily bulb which translates directly in the greenhouse, into a high quality lily. When using Liquidseal packing the use of peat as a packing medium is no longer needed. This means you can store 25% more bulbs per crate. This provides significant cost savings:
- less storage and cooling capacity
- less energy associated with cooling
- lower transport costs
It may also possible to lower the use of pestices with Liquidseal packing. Liquidseal does not itself contain active ingredients and is completely biodegradable!
